Week 6

Rhymes:
This little pig had a rub-a-dub-dub (wash one leg)
This little pig had a scrub-a-scrub-scrub (wash the other leg)
This little pig ran upstairs (run finger up child's arms)
This little pig called out,"Teddy Bear" (say in big voice)
Down came a jar with a great big slam (slap hands on water)
And this little piggy ate all of the jam. Yum, yum, yum! (rub child's tummy)

Bounces:
She fell into the bathtub
She fell into the sink
She fell into the raspberry jam
And came out pink!
We put her in the backyard
And left her in the rain
By half past suppertime
It washed her clean again!

After my bath I try, try, try
To wipe myself 'til I'm dry, dry, dry
Hands to wipe and fingers and toes
And two wet legs and a shiny nose
Just think how much less time I'd take
If I were a dog and could shake, shake, shake!

Down at the bottom of the deep blue sea
Catching fishes for our tea
With a one and a two and a three! (lift baby)

Songs:
1 button, 2 buttons, 3 buttons, 4
Changing baby's diaper like we did before
4 buttons, 3 buttons, 2 buttons, 1
Changing baby's diapers, now we're done
Lots of fun! Nice clean bum!

Splish splash water (Tune: Frere Jacques)
Splish splash water
On your toes, on your toes
On your fingers, on your fingers
On your nose, on your nose
Splish splash water
Splish splash water
On your hair, on your hair
On your face, on your face
Everywhere, everywhere!

This is the way we wash our hands
Wash our hands, wash our hands
This is the way we wash our hands
So early in the morning
(wash face, hair, tummy, give a kiss)

What's the matter with Dickery Dean?
He jumped right in to the washing machine
Nothing's the matter with Dickery Dean
He dove in dirty and jumped out clean.

Rain on the green grass
Rain on the trees
Rain on the housetop
But not on me!

It's raining, it's pouring
The old man is snoring
He went to bed with a bump on his head
And he couldn't get up in the morning.

Hands are clapping, clap, clap, clap
Hands are clapping, clap, clap, clap
Hands are clapping, clap, clap, clap
Clap your hands my darling.
(toes are tapping, arms are swinging, tongues are clicking, lips are smacking)

1 little, 2 little, 3 little fingers
4 little, 5 little, 6 little fingers
7 little, 8 little, 9 little fingers
10 little fingers make two little hands.
(10 little toes make tow little feet)
